Unit Conversion: You can use Google to convert between many different units of measurement of height, weight, and volume among many others.
Just enter the conversion you want into the Google search box, and it will calculate the conversion for you.
Currency Conversion: Knowing current currency value is very easy in Google with the built-in currency converter.
Simply enter the conversion you want into the search box such as: 75 euros in rupees.
Music Search: If you are searching for a song, lyrics, or music-related terms, use the music: For example, music:love will return songs related to love.
Online Dictionary: If you want to know the meaning of a word and don’t have a paper dictionary with you, then simply type Define: before the word, you want to look up, and Google will provide you with a dictionary definition.
This can be very useful if you are out and have a smartphone with Internet connection.
Search by File Type: If you are looking for a particular type of file, say a pdf, then simply type ‘filetype:pdf’ and the end of the query, and you will get back all pdf files matching to your query.
